hi lads just a queery i have a greyhound bitch and a 3/4 bull 1/4 greyhound dog i am going to breed these dogs. what will the pups be? i am thinking that these will be bred back to been half bull half greyhound but my mate is telling me that they will be 5/8 grehound 3/8 bull i am certain that iam right can anyone put me on the right road

I am not really any good at maths but I think I have to agree with your mate. My rough calculations have worked out that there will be more greyhound than bull. But not sure how much.

I have done my maths and I think it is 62.5% greyhound and 37.5% bull. Which makes it what your mate said roughly.

He's not breeding pure to a 3/4, he's breeding a pure [greyhound] to a 1/4 [greyhound] which makes 5/8th greyhound.
