JohnGalway 1,043
I agree with Clint, shot foxes at night with my shotgun and I'd be distracted by a bright yoke on the end of the barrel. Quote Link to post

danebrewer10 6
how about sights from trijicon or truglo or perhaps meprolight? something with tritium sounds the best bet- I looked at the same thing a while ago- perhaps snap on rifle style turkey sights would be the best bet, or ones that fasten on with a clamp so you don't have to go drilling the rib, but I don't recall seeing anything like what you'd need- something so you can see the front sight but also be able to sight down the rib properly- necessitating the use of a rear sight- either ghost ring or "standard" type..... the closest thing I found were some truglo snap on turkey sights from midway UK- if you're shooting with the lamp then they might be worth a go- I don't gink they were that expensive either- something around £20 I think Quote Link to post
savaloy 1
thanks for that guys, i think im going for the meprolight, thats what i had in mind already. My o/u has a true glow bead & my auto has a white bead on it. most of my foxing i wait in one spot for them either along side a run or i bait a spot for a while, this is obviously in the dark and if you have no light behind you, you really cant see them beads, im usually under a bush or cover so although you can see charlie you cant see the bead. ive got a 17hmr but im under cheshire and they wont ticket it for fox.
