They was most lykely worm diggin. A barbaric practice that peaks at this time of year as the season for lurchers is over many men take up worm digging to them use their hard as f**k plummer terriers and jackrussels to bait the worm once its at the surface, Most popular on rainy nights so the soil is easy to dig up. In some cases the worm is taken back for worming competitions to see whos dog can kill the worm first, many many dogs have jacked on worms in the past, however one of the most famous dogs in this underground sport, Sweepy Jack which is said to have killed worms in less than ten minites, where as most dogs will kill in about 2.4 hours.

The dogs involved with worm digging and bating are belived to go for huge prices, a dog out of sweepy Jack is thought to be sold at £23 grand in the black market, the breeding of this dog is not known but is thought to have some pitbull in thr makeup.

two things what bring back memories we were lamping for rabbits with rifle only to stumble across a fox rabbiting in long white grass we put lamp on the fox and it was coursing it like a lurcher but using its hearing as we use the lamp what a sight turn for turn for about 1 min top coursing

and other one went into a field to hear some screaming we fuxxing shit our sells only to find a bat caught in top barbe wire fence tried to get it off what a fxxk on

quite boring really but very memorable
