potamkin 0
So i'm off out all day Saturday for my first attempt decoying. I'm dedicating the whole day to sitting in my hide, but i'm not sure what time to start. Can anyone give me some advice on the best time of day to set up your decoys and hide. Obviously i don't want to be setting up when the pigeons are flying over! During my previous visits to this land to shoot rabbits, i've noticed a fairly steady stream of pigeons throughout the day. Any help is much appreciated ATB Quote Link to post

waidmann 105
some will say first light, some will say to let the pigeon have the first feed . i would go for first light and set up,have a coffee and enjoy the morning(i'm a bit like that sometimes ). take some photos with the crow/magpie caller first thing after you set up and wait for the grey fellas to turn up. what are you shooting over? waidmann Quote Link to post
