paulk73 151 Posted December 7, 2010 Report Share Posted December 7, 2010 have visited on quite a few occasions, only the north though. antrim. broughshane. lovely part of the world. the last time was to place a memorial bench with a plaque where my mother grew up. oh sorry i went again year before last to bury my grandmother. we got a great welcome from all the locals. and if we had placed a bench like that round here where i live, it wouldnt have been here the next day, some scrote would have nicked it. lol yes i would deffo visit again. scothunter 12,609 Posted December 7, 2010 Report Share Posted December 7, 2010 been a few times,used to buy all my greyhounds from ireland.cork,dundalk,shelbourne park for the greyhound sales.had some good times there and seen some handy dogs aswell.parted with the most amount of cash i ever paid for a dog at shelbourne and the owner gave me back 100quid for luck ;p Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Prices are cheaper and the craic is better! Like someone said take the coast roads. Head south Wicklow, Wexford, Waterford, Cork some great places to see and things to do.
