Sealyhams. Anyone working them?

Recommended Posts

my family is more important to me than dogs

Don't bite mate, some idiots  may abandon the wife & kids but it's clear you're not one of them, they're just trying to take the P!ss!!! I understand how difficult it is to re-home an animal, one of my friends wants me to re-home her SLT which is two years old & is begging to be worked (it is a pet) & I'm having a "Hell Of A Time" finding him a new home. Despite asking ALL of my "working" friends!!! It's easy to mock when you're not suffering!!! :wallbash:

WELL STABS ,   I DUG TO A FEW DOGS FROM THAT AREA ..... NEVER SAW A BAD UN ........ PPs JASPER , I THINK I REMEMBER HAVING SEEN HIM AT THE OLD QUARRY ABOVE ELDON BRICKWORKS .... THOUGH THERE

Well give them to your mates then! Don't get rid of the lot in a moment of anger.   You will regret it once your back on your feet.   FTB

I've heard so many stories like this before! Most Sealyhams (& their crosses etc.) usually "self-enter", she'll have smelt something to ground that the "Fell" hadn't & while you were busy probably went back because it was quieter. I've lost two of mine while out walking them. You were lucky as I never found mine again!!

Last time I spoke to M.R was at the terrier club AGM about 3yrs ago. I asked him about his 'Sealyhams' which he replied they weren't really Sealyhams anymore as they had to outcross to Russells that much they were now more or less Russells. They had used good quality Russells though as an outcross in the form of duggans stuff
