Every man is different, so what they want in a dog varies. I like a dog with a good nose, good working ability, obedience, a strong head and a brain lol. Kyle Quote Link to post

chezney 44
alot of people will have diffrent prefrances but this is mine firstly for the area i dig in i like a dog with a bit of size about them built for the job as some would say a terrier of around 14 -16 inch and around the 20 lbs mark suits me dog has to have agood nose be willing to dig on or push on through tight areas preferebly i liek a baying/ mixing dog one thats up in thier face letting their presence be known and one that has staying power to see the job through and one that ups the tempo when the going is getting tough .... but remember lads the best dogs have bad days if your out doing enough you wont dig them all Edited April 25, 2010 by chezney Quote Link to post
johnrussell84 2,832
My way your needing eleven to thirteen inch dogs. In my opinion the lines have to be there whether its worker to worker or specific strain but like all dogs regardless the making its in the owner with time picking the right sets and reading there dogs not doubling them or edging them, just my opinion but it is down to alot of owners that alot of good dogs have been ruined Quote Link to post
