Shotgun certificate advice

hello i have decided to apply for a shotgun certificate, but i would like to no if theres a discount if applying for to people: for example me and my dad.

 

im asking because i am only 15 so i can have one given to me if i get a licence but well it would be my dad giving me one but he would need a licence as well if you get me...???

 

so question again is are there any discounts on applying for a SGC (the 50 quid) if you buy more than one, like £70 for the 2 in stead of £100 for the two?

 

this is all only if i even get a licence ha dont think theres any reasoon not to, im not a criminal or a murder n the run

Do not think there is discount, father cannot give you shotgun with no licence.How he have rifle? You call licence office & ask advice.

There is no discount.

 

What I suggest is that you and your Dad apply at the same time and then, when your Dad buys a shotgun for you to use under his supervision, make sure that the gun is registered on BOTH your certificates.

 

Also make sure that you both join BASC (if you are not already members). Happily there is a big discount for Young Shot membership of BASC.

thats a shame theres not a discount,

ill defently join BASC, but what are the advantages???
