What else do you do with your dog?

Recommended Posts

its the off season so apart from a bit mooching what do you do with the dog during the summer?

i have two of mine at agility training,it just keeps them focused obedient and fit.

i also have the big dog in scurrys and competitions at game fairs.

anybody do anything unusual with their dogs? i know one lads dog is used as a mountain rescue dog. it doesnt work as a hunting dog.

My dalmationxbeardy although not a working lurcher, is a handy dog in the winter and will have a go on the lamp, day time flushing and catching bunnies, also handy at taking pheasants mid air!! :clapper:

The summer months is when she's at her busiest though competing in a variety of dog sports, dock dogs is her main event though and the one she does the best at.

Walk the lakes for a couple of hours in the mornings, visit the farms one day a week with them, some is pest control, also take the air rifle take a couple of pot shots, rats, pigeons and crows, they babysit the grandkids a couple of days a week, that keeps em busy hahah.
