Anyone who was reasonably competent with an air rifle could have done it. It's not always the skill of the hunter but the numbers of quarry present that make big bags. Quote Link to post
peeps_76 17 Posted April 25, 2010 Report Share Posted April 25, 2010 my best was 67 rabbits in 4.5 hours last year lamping from a landrover. the place was moving with rabbits sometimes you didnt know which one to go for 1st. due to start that permission again really soon. will take the camera this year. regards P Quote Link to post
masmiffy 82 Posted April 25, 2010 Report Share Posted April 25, 2010 When I got my Titan Manitou the first trip out I had 13 rabbits for 13 shots! An afternoon session round some grass parkland. Since then have had many double figure days. Had a good few on the lamping at night as well when out with my mate in his truck and walking! See the avatar! Quote Link to post
adam scott 1 Posted April 26, 2010 Author Report Share Posted April 26, 2010 wow thank you for the reply's! you guy's have done some seriouse shootin! air rifles are great cuz they are so quite arnt they! and as for that black rabbit! i have never seen one like it! and i've been walkin about for years! amazing! well i know u guys put me to shame with an air rifle! buy the way i use a gamo air rifle with a silencer on the end. not that it makes alot of difference a. air rifles are quiet anyhow. any how i over the moon with my 4! made good eatin too!!
