donkdaniel 236 Posted April 25, 2010 Report Share Posted April 25, 2010 well me and my mate went to the monmouth show last weekend must say we had a great time there lots to see and do met some good like minded people evrything was going graet and being new to the lurcher side of things thought it might be a bit of fun entering my little beddy cross in the coursing anyway enters my dog my other mates pup and away thay go not world beaters but thay enjoyd themselfs anyway then this lad goes to put his dog in and him being new to the sport to left his dog go a little early the judge went mad with him!!!! couldent beleve it supposed to be fun? anyway on with the anyway on with the raceing another couple of raceis and a little dog caught the lure the judge could it the dogs race as if it was a real hare chances are it was caught makes sense ye ok things are really hotting up now and here was the semmi final and alans dog prinni to go now this dog is like a jet ive never seen anything like it hits the first bend and hits the lure nothing from the judge? ok hits the next bent hits the lure still nothing from the judge funny? well the dogs are comeing up the strait evryone expects alans dog to win as she naild the lure not once but twice seems evryone there saw it exept the judge strainge dont you think? anyway cut a long story short i that will be my first time and last time i go to an event like that again all for a bit of fun but i dont like cheats we all now who would have one that alan so dont worry mate youve got a lightning dog Quote Link to post Share on other sites

stroller 341 Posted April 25, 2010 Report Share Posted April 25, 2010 went to raby castle last year and entered bob my big labradoodle in the any other breed lure coursing he caught the lure snapped the string and did an excellent retrieve The judges were in hysterics laughing it was a total fun event, the show was dis organised chaos but it will probably be better this year Quote Link to post Share on other sites
