Put an old jumper on and keep handling the pup even letting him fall asleep on you then put the jumper in his bed it might work all pups cry went brought into new surroundings.thumbs.gif

hi there,

i love springers mate, little bundles of energy.. What line's he outta...?

put a furry teddy in beside him or wrap up a jumper as stated, radio may help, or put a clock in wraped up in the jumper,

should be right as rain after a few days....

Good luck with all the training.....

Have you got a crate for him? I found it really helped with giving our dog security. IF he felt insecure at any time he could go in it and he slept in there as well. It also helped with toilet training as they dont like to go to the toilet in it. I also bought some cuddly toys and put a few blankets in it. At night I coverf the top and sides with some old towels as well.

Good luck with the pup he looks great

We suffered a bit with barking at night time. Every time he did it we took him outside to go to the toilet even if he didn't need it. It didn't take long for it to subside. However he continued to get us up early for a few weeks. The turning point was once he had been given his jabs and was allowed to go out. The longer walks seemed to make a work of difference. Now he wakes between 7 and 8am which is about the same time as our 4 year old.

At least dogs grow up faster than kids each phase only lasts a short time in comparison

Oh by the way I also used to leave the TV or radio on very quiet to give him some mental stimulation...although it's hard to see if it made any real difference.
