one thing i would say is a pit is only about jaw strenght mainly. they dont have that much power compared to some other breeds. a mal can take 7-8 times his body weight so i would say if a bear stamped on the bull it would snap as they weigh a stupid weight and yes after i was carted away the one mal who wasnt to badly injured<could just about walk> did track the bear and again before jinny my mate could get the shot had another go on it. but remember say if you got two of the same breed and one is used in a hunting enviroment and the other is just a pet then you wouldnt expect great things from the non worker in the hunting enviroment its the same with mals most people who own them have curbed there hunting instincts and these are the vast majority people have seen. if you ask people who use the mal in any form of hunting enviroment i would say you would get great reports thses are the mals you want to experience. thats why bull do have a good rep because yes alot do use them in hunting enviroments and these are the ones that people have seen. in states most people own pits for fighting or security thats it. but the fault to the mal if you call it that is it has to be worked, if you dont work him he'l find a way to work himself. sorry for the essay again lads haha

used to watch the movies as kids bear fighting allways thought tough old critter , glad youlived to the story sounds an intresting story ,ideal for telling the young ones, man versus bear theta what ali used to call foreman lol,you got any pics of the bear or anything like that lol

is that little rant aimed at me the dogs were bred and used as frieght dogs and thats what they use them for round the farm also it points out that they can be trained to a degree as most people think of malemutes as being thick.
