carolmac 0
Can any falconary people give me a bit of advice please, I have fantail doves flying free and a hawk as begun taking them is there anyway I can deter it? Please dont tell me I should be priveleged to have a hawk in such close proximity,I realise hawks need to eat but I live in the country and there is no shortage of wild birds in the area any sensible advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Quote Link to post

CityHunter.uK 12
Try keeping your birds in for a couple of weeks it will see the area as less attractive and hopefully move on to pastures greener. Depending on the breed and who you know you could also try flying a hawk in the area to put in an element of added competition for food and make the wild hawk look else where Quote Link to post
