runforyourlife 361
Got a few different lads and dogs coming over at the start of the season, and you have been asking myself and huinting partner loftie what is the ground like in which we hunt up on.. Heres a few pics from a mooch yesterday. Obviously the terrain changes and we do also run green fields but all in all it is rough going and strong dogs do well... thanks. Russ.. Quote Link to post

We run dogs up to 25 to 26" on this type of land. Altho 22" to 24" seems to be the best.... The good thing is that the dogs are kept ultra fit on this land wether they get a run or not. Then once on the meadows and fields we also have, they lap it up, especially my salukix... Quote Link to post
