quick look out with bitch tonight

Recommended Posts

it is now about 11 weeks since my bitch came into heat, she has just had a phantom pregnancy and milk seems to be all gone. so i took her out on the lamp tonight see if she is getting back to normal (still been getting couple of hours free run a day all the time). any way i slipped her on a few babies and they straigt lined her through a big field and then she started jacking, i couldnt believe it, before she came into heat she was getting 10-20 a night 3 -4 nights a weeks. she was sick about five times the other day, do you think there could be something wrong with her or is it part of her phantom pregnancy? cheers. pics before heat and now.

give the bitch a break because i've a springer bitch that literally tears cover apart to hunt and will find a fox anywhere but when she is in heat and for a week or two after she will do feck all.its all hormones, dogs are as bad as women.

my bitch was exactly the same. came into heat. left her to rest. then would have phantom and fill up with milk. spent a small fortune on galastop. in the end had to have her spayed. it was a last resort. but 4 weeks later she was back to her normal self.

theres no stopping her now !!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Thats a bit drastic, he may want to breed off his bitch. Dont do anything hasty like that. Keep your eye on her, and take your time. Unless your doing pest control and need to be going at it all year round, now is the best time to let her lie up anyway. Its a good thing it didnt happen in the middle of the seaason mate... alb Russ

If she was good before she will be ok later. Phantom pregnancies suck, when my bitch is in heath I know it will last 4 months before she is her normal self again. Basically my bitch is unusable 5 months per year. Spaying is an option but she is getting old.

every time your bitch comes in 2 heat more than likely she is going 2 have a phanthom pregnenicey my old collie grey was like this happend 3 times in a row so i got her spayed and she was grand after that.if it happens again and u dont plan on breeding from her then i would get her spayed.
