Fern at a Year

Recommended Posts

Well she is a year now and how it has flown.

I have worked her every week in short sessions over the winter months on Game birds and Vermin and i couldnt be happier with her, she will retrieve anything but hunting up is her main job and she dose it with excellent staminar.

She is only a slight bitch being 21.5" with very little weight on her, but she has the courage of a lion.

She will hit cover very hard and run through the thickest Gorse to flush her prey, thats why she always has cuts and scrapes to her head but nothing bothers her.

But that what i wanted out of her, for the type of shooting / hunting i do i know a springer would be more suitable and i was very close to getting one, but i took a chance on her and i think its paying off.

Here are a few upto date pics.
