gnasher16 30,025
he wanted to fight calzaghe, he would never live with him that's why joe didn't want to fight him he didn't want to hurt him.the 2 good things that came out of it was firstly froch lost and even better i won a few quid off it. It always makes me laugh how gullible the public are to this sport..... Who makes for a more dangerous opponent for Calzaghe,a fresh hungry Carl Froch,a fight that would have got Calzaghe about 30 quid......or a washed up Roy Jones who got him millions !.. Who was a more dangerous opponent for Hatton,a fresh hungry Junior Witter for peanuts....or a few million for fighting a washed up Castillo..... And they say fighters are thick ! Kind of answered your own question there mate..............why indeed would the likes of Hatton or Calzaghe take on low budget fights when they can rake in millions elsewhere? Short career so you have to make the money when its put in front of you. I hear a few things about boxers not taking certain fights but i would imagine promoters and agents have a big say in these match decisions!
