he wanted to fight calzaghe,:laugh: he would never live with him that's why joe didn't want to fight him he didn't want to hurt him.the 2 good things that came out of it was firstly froch lost and even better i won a few quid off it.

It always makes me laugh how gullible the public are to this sport.....

Who makes for a more dangerous opponent for Calzaghe,a fresh hungry Carl Froch,a fight that would have got Calzaghe about 30 quid......or a washed up Roy Jones who got him millions !..

Who was a more dangerous opponent for Hatton,a fresh hungry Junior Witter for peanuts....or a few million for fighting a washed up Castillo.....

And they say fighters are thick !

people saying he is shy i dont think so he comes over as a right smarmey arogant big headed prick and he needed to be hit down a peg or two

you`ve seen him on tv trying to promote his fights - i know the lad and his family and spent a good bit of time in his company he`s no big head and far from arrogant ..

Kind of answered your own question there mate..............why indeed would the likes of Hatton or Calzaghe take on low budget fights when they can rake in millions elsewhere?

Short career so you have to make the money when its put in front of you.

I hear a few things about boxers not taking certain fights but i would imagine promoters and agents have a big say in these match decisions!

differant class mate to be fair haglers always said the hardest he`d ever been hit in his career was by sibbo .. sibbo was an average do or die fighter making the most of what he had and he did alright for himself ...
