is it ok to breed 2 jills in the same run/hutch at the same time. they would be mated at the same time so the kits would be born around the same time and be of similar age. has anyone done this and would the jills accept another ferret around there kits?

Yes when i get kits off of guys i go for two jills and as there raised together when i bred them i keep them together and they get on fine .And ive found when i take one out the other one paces up and down the cage even ignoring her kits looking for her sister

why not just breed one, but leave the other in as a surrogate aunt, two litters together is no problem, but they will put them altogether, you'll have no way of indentifng kitts to mums, no good if you want to keep records for future reference, good kitt, bad kitt etc
