Bird do you have any pics of our dogs sire and dam? would be great to see them cheers Hi mate, no pics, but the dam greyhound was black, and the sire border collie was tri-colour. Ive said the size's already.! How is your dog, you had a good season. Trigger 26 Posted April 22, 2010 Report Share Posted April 22, 2010 This dog has had some good size bags on the rabbits his best single handed night was 44 in a little over 4hours he could have caught more but i run out of rabbits. he takes bags in there 20s regular and has plenty of bags in the 30s. he is alsation/collie X whippet/greyhound Quote Link to post

hawcroft 7 Posted April 22, 2010 Report Share Posted April 22, 2010 had a first cross bred by typ ratcher ,the dog was superb rabbit catcher day, night,But could kill winter hares single handed DAYTIME, PLUS OTHER GAME AS WELL SINGLEHANDED.THE dog was tested to the max on everything really never backed down.BEST NIGHT I HAD WITH HIM WAS 53 RABBITTS ,BUT ME AND MY MATE WITH HIS DOG DID 102 RABBITTS ONE NIGHT UP REEF NORTH YORKSHIRE.Bred from this dog and produced adog which was a top draw rabbitt dog.CANT SPEEK HIGHLY ENOUGH ABOUT GOOD COLLIE CROSSES. Trigger 26 Posted April 22, 2010 Report Share Posted April 22, 2010 heres another o.k bitch she had alot of good size bags. she was out with another dog one night and between the 2dogs they had 96 rabbits and 5 hares she had 48 rabbits and 3 hares the other dog had 48 rabbits and 2 hares,taken in turns each dog slipped until they caught 5 rabbits didnt start lamping untill 2 in the mourning. on another ocassion she had 49 rabbits and 2 hares but unfortanitly for her she got caught in a electric fence which effected her running that night. she was a good bitch. labradore X collie/grey Quote Link to post
