they look grotesque more like a chihuahau cross than a pure russel if you look on the studs and adults page they have got plummer terriers as well. they are supposed to be "poachers" dogs the price is the punchline, dogs from £450 bitches from £550 bloody hell!

on that adults page it says one of the jack russels is sired by the plummer terrier so how can it be a jack russel if its half plummer?

I'm not surprised to see they are based in Kent, i've come across a few folk in the past couple of years & been told the dogs they have are "miniature JR's"

 

"It was towards the end of the 1930’s that several local Poacher's approached us and asked if we could breed a terrier much reduced in size but without any loss of spirit or working ability. Our family accepted the task and set about breeding the smallest Dam’s to the smallest of Sire’s, certainly not rocket science but a process which took over three years before we were able to produce a true working Poacher’s Pocket Jack Russell Terrier.

As the years passed the demand for our Pockets grew and by the 1950’s we were breeding three distinct sizes of Jack. The height distinctions we employed then have changed little today.

Pocket Jack Russell from 5.5 inches to 10 inches ( average is 7 to 8 inches )

Miniature Jack Russell from 10 inches to 13 inches

Standard Jack Russell from 13 inches upwards"
