Phantom 631
Hi again Andrew, From what I have read on the Norica 56; it has a power of about 6ft/lbs so its an ideal power for a youngster The reviews I've read state that it is prone to rusting, but keep a thin film of oil on it and that should help with that minor fault. The trigger may be a bit heavy, one review described it as a .308 trigger pull so to help with that, I would suggest a polish and re-grease of the mating surfaces of the mechanism. The reviews have also stated its an ideal ratting tool (but very loud for its power) and accuracy out to 20 yards is very acceptable. So you should give the youngster a good start in airgunning. All the best Phantom Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
Just been playing with chairgun pro, and using the data supplied by Norica for the 56, chairgun calculates that the power in the .177 is a tad over 6.55 ft/lbs. Phantom Quote Link to post
