deben terrier finder 3

iv just bought 1 seckond hand as working, never got a manual,so got new batteries for the locator and the collar, turned on the switch, got a bit of a beep, and then nothing put the colar up to the dot, as i was told that's how the collar is activated, just wondering if this has happened or am i doing it right ???? and or where can it be sent to get it looked at?????

had the same probs mate but mines was me just bein silly and having the batts in the wrong way and when i did get it going i lost the collar :wallbash::wallbash:

 

LOL i did the the same thing i was convinced id been robbed, there are a few good vids on you tube showing how to use from putting the batterys in, to locating the ferret/dog.

Just bought the long range one off ebay the other week, it said the collar was spares or repairs as one of the prongs that retains the batteries was broken off. Anyway, the remaining prong must be the business 1 because the collar and locator work fine :boogie: and also when you screw the two halves of the collar together, it pushes on the prong holding it tight against the batteries :) .

 

I got it for less than £57, now hows that for a bargain??? :boogie:
