patdahat 41 Posted April 20, 2010 Report Share Posted April 20, 2010 iv just bought 1 seckond hand as working, never got a manual,so got new batteries for the locator and the collar, turned on the switch, got a bit of a beep, and then nothing put the colar up to the dot, as i was told that's how the collar is activated, just wondering if this has happened or am i doing it right ???? and or where can it be sent to get it looked at????? cheer's pat. slingshot82 32 Posted April 22, 2010 Report Share Posted April 22, 2010 Just bought the long range one off ebay the other week, it said the collar was spares or repairs as one of the prongs that retains the batteries was broken off. Anyway, the remaining prong must be the business 1 because the collar and locator work fine and also when you screw the two halves of the collar together, it pushes on the prong holding it tight against the batteries .
