advice on a gun

hi everyone id like to get in to airguns but would like some advice for my first gun it would only be for rabbits and pigeon may be the ocasinal rat but id like a gun witch i wouldent have to buy gas for or get things to make it work id like some thing like a brake barrrel but dont know kind what do recon for a first gun buget around 250 could be for secon hand gun

depends how much ya wanna spend mate, bsa do some good starters, air arms springers are quite well respected in the mid range, no-one'll have much bad to say about weirauch range and i'd happily part with proper money for a theoben evolution!! what sort of bank are you gonna be willing to part with? i've got an smk that i dont need but that probably wont be doing you any favours...

get a BSA lightning xl in .22 mate you cant been then for a first gun they r fairly accurate too and not to badley priced.

oh i forgot to say my budget would be around 250 but that could be for a seconhand gun

think there was an air arms tx200 on here for around that price mate, with scope e.t.c.

keep looking on the for sale section, you should get something good for that. just dont rush into it. everytime a gun comes up, google it

Have a look at the Cometa 300 mates. Very accurate if used with .22 (5.6mm)not 5.5 pellets, be careful what grain tho as this could send it over the legal limit.

Try a weirauch hw95 or something there pretty accurate and smooth and you should get one for around that price range
