Hi Mate

I asked my mate the same question, He's got a Rapid 7 and I wondered why he didn't use his compressor to fill the bottle. Apparently compressors can't achieve the psi/bar needed to pressurise the bottle

Hope this helps

Hi all, have been thinking about this pcp malarky!! Is it possible to use a compressor to charge you rifles rather the a diving bottle?? Help please!

Thanks Plink.

Thanks for the quick replys guys  Looks like a diving bottle it is then lol

Another question!!! Will a 3 litre bottle do the same as a 6/7 litre one?

it will fill to the same bar/psi you just wont get as many fills out of it. more litres more fills mate.

the bottles need a test certificate to every 5 years i belive.(hydrotesting)

have a look in to the hand pumps bit cheeper and dont need testing /refilling and easyer to take out with you.

however they do become hard work after around 150bar. well put it this was i start to lift my self off the ground rather than push the pump down at 150, but then again im not the biggest bloke in the world. :download:

happy hunting

Andy

The average garage type or diy compressor will only make around 10 bar lol. :whistling:

Thanks lads :notworthy: I have a hand pump but suffer from a back problem  so I will have to get a bottle at some point its wether I go for a 3ltr or bigger, I only shot once maybe twice a week so the smaller one be an option to keep the cost down.

Sorry to be a pain in the arse and keep asking all these questions :icon_redface: but how many fills will a 3ltr bottle.

Thanks Plink.
