from what ive heard they are are jack all of all trades, it all depends on the man behind the dog i suppose, but i know of dog of this blood that do not mind teeth and were prone to enjoying abit of hard work, am sure tere are plenty out there the same, but goes for all dogs, its the man behind the animal how is entered all that carry on :boxing:

i know my mate has a dog about 17 month and even though he has seen a few the lad thinks he will never make a top fox dog, but then again there is a lad down in cornwall who's bitch of around 2 years old is retreiving them on regular basis, but i dont think they where ever bred for fox (i could be wrong) i thought deer and rabits in big numbers was there game in them days, makes sence why lads put some bull into the breed, know these so i believe have made top class fox dogs in the past. Moscow pictured below took fox not in massive amounts but he took them, he did take a lot of ferral cats. He was slow to come on with teeth, wouldnt take anything with teeth till he was 18 month

been to check with my mate over breeding of his dog and it goes like this,v minshaw bred oboe, oboe was crossed with a 3/4greyhound/pitbull owned by a lad called robin from aberystwyth who sold my mate the dog he also called blue, that was 1991,blue sired 8 different litter's over his lifetime, one of these was to graham platts blue laguna whippet/greyhound/bull,the resulting blue and white pied dog was the dog jim barker aquired off graham's brother robby, and it does'nt end there as I spoke to robby platt before and before jim picked the dog up he lined a greyhound bitch that produced 4 pups,1 ended up with a lad called steve from wigan that has been well tested by all accounts, hope that clear's it up a bit for you busher and dazz.atb, wirralman
