johnrussell84 2,832
Hi all ive read quite alot of threads regarding best locators and all and heard first hand of the barryvox and ive used the bellman a few times which where great to, right up till the end of this year ive still personally been using the old knocker box as the sets all around here are easy and shallowish. Long story short was looking into buying the orvotox d1 not too expensive and sounds ok does anyone use them??? Quote Link to post

D1 is a good box ,and fast to locate ,they have been around since 1989 i think ,the d1 is light years ahead of a knocker box with none of the problems 1 Quote Link to post

MISTY 11
There is no digital readout on a d1 ,just a dial that you turn down when the signal gets stronger ,the dial starts at 40m and can be turned down to 1m ,there is just three lights and a tone on them . 1 Quote Link to post
