Catcher 1 639
We should put them all on the gravy boat then sink it
Matt 160
If running an efficient constituency and parliamentary office means being on the gravy train like all the other MP's, then he's guilty. BUT, he IS PRO HUNTING!
Edd_Wiltshire 9
Fine, vote labour or lib dem, see how much of damn they give about the countryside. Served in the Guld War and Iraq, plenty more deserving hate figures in my opinion. True he may have some expensive stapler tastes but every single politician will have some dodgey looking expense claims if you look hard enough.

Murrison is a good local MP who gets out and about in the constituency, and supports the countryside. If you never voted for a candidate because they spent too much, then you'd never vote at all. They are all on the Gravy train to some degree. Anything except a tory vote in these marginal liberal/tory areas will result in Gordon Brown retaining power and more of the same crap. Save your venom for the anti countryside Labour and Green party candidates, or the RSPCA supporting BNP.
fishfish 17
murrison is pro- registered packs hunting. i actually met him when he was PAID to open the new extention at our nippers school,he wouldnt answer when i asked if he was going to back the common man hunting with a dog or just the toffs of the hunts. "Murrison is a good local MP who gets out and about in the constituency" yep and charged us thousands for it! infact for a chap that does so much getting out and about in the constituency and lives local ie not much travelling he managed to charge us £7,414 !!!! Matt 160
Lets face it, all MP's claim expenses, and ours claims less than most of the others. He is against uncontrolled immigration, and in favour of hunting. He's also served in Iraq (he's in the TA as a doctor). To suggest he 'charges' to open schools is unfair. He is entitled to claim for expenses incurred while carrying out constituency work, like opening schools. Whether that is right or wrong is not up to him; they all do it, whatever party they represent. In terms of expenses, Murrison claims much less than most Labour MP's. Hunting is hunting. There is no suggestion that the tories will exclude lurcherwork from any repeal bill - the bill will propose the repeal of the hunting act, not just the organised hunting that 'Toffs' (presumably like me) take part in. Andrew Murrison is a good man, who supports the countryside and his constituents. Save the campaigning for anti countryside candidates, those who support us deserve our full support, not a criticism.
