JohnGalway 1,043
Not one of ours, actually it's a UK lamb. Posted on a forum elsewhere, and the poster was wondering what done this lamb in, thoughts? I have my suspicions, and I know what the poster reckons, just want to see what people here think without influencing ye. The head and tail have been removed. The lamb was several days old and strong. Edited April 19, 2010 by JohnGalway

FightTheBan 1,147
Defo stripeys in my opinion. At this time of year a fox would carry the carcass back to the earth for cubs plus in my experience pigs usually take the head. And if you look at the severe wound, it was done with sharp teeth-the kind of teeth that could mark a spade! FTB

bedrock 16
Brock. From what I’ve seen the damage is usually around the head and arse they are also fond of chewing the feet.
Malt 379
I'd say badger, looks more mustelidae than vulpine anyway! I'd have thought a fox would chew away the soft tissue first, whereas a badger isn't fussy what it eats. I know my ferrets chew the head off whatever I put in with them in that manner, scale it up and it's not unrealistic! Edited April 19, 2010 by maltenby
