bald patches on terrier

Hi folks just wanted a bit of advice,our lakeland terrier bitch has 2 bald spots on her sides,they dont seem to be bothering her in any way, no scratching ect and she seems to be bouncing at the min,the bitch has just come off of season so wondered if that could have anything to do with it ? she also picked up a bag of rat poison when we were out a couple of weeks ago but dont think she ingested any of it.

 

anyone experianced anything similar or have any idea's what it could be ?

if she's not bothered or scratching it's probably hormonal and the spots are probably all over but first time you've seen them because of the hair loss if she's not down i would'nt worry

it could be due to change of season which is harmless. or it could be due to an allergie mange or ringworm or it could be thyroid or metabolic/endocrine disorder i would take her to the vet just to make sure its nothing serious

sounds exactly the same as my terrier, she sufferd from the same symptons last year, the vet said it was called seasonal flank disorder " hormonal" it did clear up on its own in time without treatment and touch wood she has been clear of it this year. hope yours clears up soon atb Mark

funny you should say that mate, the marks are on her flanks !
