Bipod tilt or non tilt

Hi all i am in the market for a bipod for .22-250 rifle i am not sure which bipod to go for Harris or Deben tilt or non tilt .

Any advice would be gratefull.

I went for the Harris tilt as even if you are simply shooting off a truck bonnet the surface is not level!

I have a Harris 9-13" with tilt , it was a really good buy, the tilt function gets used quite a bit , highly recommended

i would recommend the tilt always if you re laying on your stomach 9" to 13" if youre sat with a backrest 13"to 25"

unless your shooting of a bench, go for the tilt, as ground is never level, and the cant of the rifle will change the poi slightly...

 

So spend the extra bucks and get the swivel one... HARRIS.. if you can go the extra cash its worth it.

Another vote for a tilt. Never saw the point in them... until I owned one.

 

As said above if you're laying on the ground shooting bunnies it'll rarely be level and the tilt saves you having to fanny about with the legs.

If you only EVER want to use it for range work off a flat surface consider the fixed (not sure I would even then)!

 

For ALL other applications the TILT!
