They dont have to lift it for foxhound pack hunting,no police chief will dare arrest any toff under a Tory government, ordineary lads[i dont mean field driving/badger baiting scum] will be prosecuted harder than under Labour,no need for any arguments,it wont be long before we see the reality of it.

WELL A TORY WAS IN TOWN LOOKING FOR VOTES AND SHE SEAD IT WILL BE A FREE VOTE AND TOLD US TO LOOK ON THER WEB SITE SHE RECKOND IT SILLY YOU CAN CHASE RABBITS BUT NOT HARES AND THE BAN WANTS LIFTING AS SOON AS

And Gordon Brown said Labour would stop hereditary peerage in the televised debate the other night? Why havent they done it in the last 13 yrs?

What dont you understand about ALL politicians being lying vote whoring b*****ds? Exept thats not exactly true, they arent lying, its easy for Cameron to hold an open vote on hunting,he can turn round after the vote and say "i kept my word and allowed a vote, but the ban was democratically upheld" and he will protect the packs and come down harder on poaching/coursing.

Like i said we will soon see what happens.

BASC dont give a shite and neither do any of the others (infact i think its fair to say most shooting organisations do quite alot to put a bad name to the lurcher), all the CA care about is mounted pa

Right then. Honest answers. If your Cons get into Government, do you expect their MP's to vote in favour of repealing the hunting ban?   Looking in from outside your country I think it's the height

When i hear the words politicians and ban mentioned in the same statement i dunno if its just me but the word that always springs to mind in my head is....OXYGEN!!!   If it was up to me id ban the

Its a very sad thought but its looking more and more like dog work as we knew it is consigned to the history books.

MOST COUNTREY MINDED FOLK GO TO SHOWS WHY CARNT BASC AND LIKE HAVE PERTITIONS WHAT WE CAN SIGN AND THEN PASS THEM ON TO MPS IN THAT AREA

BASC dont give a shite and neither do any of the others (infact i think its fair to say most shooting organisations do quite alot to put a bad name to the lurcher), all the CA care about is mounted packs so where does average joe stand with his lurchers and earth dogs?? In the fecking gutter where labour chucked us and other sportsmen sacrificed us!

Not so long ago there was an e-pettition to repeal the ban which was among the top 5 largest for a very long time, what was 10 downingstreets response.......... basically they couldnt give a shit as they thought the law was just!

The lurcherman is an outlaw now as he was with the creation of the breed! Oh well at least we had a short while of legaly being able to run deer, hares, foxes etc.

Ill wave my middle finger to anyone that opposes dogmen and legitimate dogwork especially 'fellow' sportsmen

Unless there was a total scrap of the hunting act. I think we are better off as we are.

We can still hunt and dig as per - the only thing that is fuucked is daytime coursing - which is a real shame (sport of kings and all that).

Yes we are in the spotlight and yes we are getting jip from the antis - but that IMO will never change.

I am all for an overturn of the ban, i dont want a repeal where further legislation may be brought in.

There will be a LAB/LIB DEM coalition anyway - as too many people will vote for minority parties instead of CONS.

Just my opinion.

Give yoursely a shake. No true sportsman is against the lurcher game - only hypocrites and misinformed twats.

Dont take the opinion that everyone is against you when it simply isnt true.

Not saying they all are, not even the majority. But enough to make a difference, just look at the anti lurcher media in shooting magazines (however there are pro as well, sporting shooter being one). Talk to enough shooting men and you will see many only know of one type of coursing man....... the illegal kind. Just go to the deer stalking section of this site a count the times deer coursing is referred to negatively. A case of a few bad apples grabbing the lime light and 'fellow' sportsman being too narrow minded to see we arnt all the same. Again, im not saying its 'us and them', just many have turned their backs on us and can you honestly say BASC really waste a minutes thought on helping your average lurcherman?

Maybe not every single shooter is against lurchers,i know people who do both, but the vast majority of shooters are against lurchers/coursing,i know people who are having massive hare shoots at the moment and its just to curb coursing on their land,if they supported fellow sportsmen[who do no damage]why not just turn a blind eye,or go one further and liase with lurcher lads?

Responsible lurcher owners only leave the same amount of footprints as shooters on the land, never going to happen though is it,maybe its just an excuse to shoot 250-300 hares and get a hard on doing it?

Theres more important issues than the hunting ban.

I'm with Steve on this 1, There is going to be too many people voting Conservatives just because of all the hunting spiel that has been spouted about and I firmly believe there will be alot of disgruntled voters when they finally realise it was just to get their tick on the ballot slip. There is alot more to this general election than getting the hunting ban over turned....And hand on heart who has actually stopped anyway??

i am 100% in support of hare coursing, and if the hunting ban was lifted tommorrow I would have a running dog the next day. But why should'nt we have big hare shoots on our land to curb coursing when we pay for the sporting rights? That's what it comes down to. Atb
