Sweeney-Todd 208
Hi guy's. As much as I love the HW100,she is a tad on the heavy side for standers and walkabout mooching. With a knackered back, the weight takes its toll on me somtimes,so I felt I need another rifle to compliment it. After a LOT of pondering, I have gone for the AA s200 in .177 This will make a great addition especialy for lamping, and walking / hobbling about . Always liked the look of them, and the people who shoot them seem to love them ( Tony ) I have asked the dealer to try and get me the two part stock model, like it more than the single stock, more to get hold of. Waiting for the phone to ring now ATB. Bill. Quote Link to post

johnboy19 38
I bought the single stock version in .22 two weeks ago, brilliant gun. You made a good choice but im sure you dont need me to tell you that Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
Bill, Excellent choice The only thing I dont like about mine is the forestock when it comes to holding it comfortably. It may be just me, but the square edges on the fore stock I find unpleasent to hold, so I do most of my shooting with the S200 off the pod. I am tinkering with the Idea thogh of making a rounded forestock for her or getting some of that putty stuff and making a hand-hold area, but I think that would be just way too ugly! Enjoy the gun when she arrives Phantom Quote Link to post

Enjoy the gun when she arrives Phantom Hiya Tony. Cheer's buddy, looking forward to setting her up, when I get her. Have you thought about a hamster underneath mate, I may have a look at fitting one to mine, once I have played around a bit, never know, it may help with the comfort of your hold Like you Bud, I will proberbly fit a bipod, but remove it for walking about, and in the wood's etc. Will be putting the AA 10 shot on it too, supposed to be a good bit of kit, even though its plastic they say it is very robust. The Rowen Engeneering one is ally, but manual indexing.....not keen on that All good fun mate. Take care. Bill. Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
Hi Bill, I don't really see the point of a 10 shot Magazine that you have to index manually But when I can afford the AA auto index kit, I'll have one When I got this one it had been put back to a single shot job, but the guy who owned it before selling it to my RFD buddy, had the AA 10 shot system installed. Looks like my RFD buddy made the profit on the gun selling that part to someone else I don't mind at all though given the fact that I got a pump etc thrown in and my baby cost me so little Thanks to Rod (my RFD Buddy), I got a really good deal and I'm a very happy Bunny Assassin Regarding the Hamster, I hate them :secret: but if I find one that works and is cheap (like free) I may considder one :secret: Phantom Quote Link to post
stealthy1 3,964
I can see a AA s200 club forming here, HW100's for the young'uns, and AA s200's for the more mature whackers amongst us Quote Link to post
