moley 115 Posted October 30, 2006 Report Share Posted October 30, 2006 Right then, I've ordered a cast net and when it gets here I'll need to know how to cast it? any advise, pictures, videos etc of how to throw one would be great, (from people who actually know how to, and not the keyboard warriors who've "read about it" :ph34r: ) happy hunting people, cheers i got one about 4 years ago ,6 footer about 1/4 ich mesh ,if you bought it new it should have instructions with it, there quite easy to use but if you throw it a few times you get fairly smelly and wet , i found a few different ways to throw it , so i don,t get covered in stinking crap from the lake bed, saves loads of time trying to catch bait, if you bait up an area for about an hour then throw , you should get stacks of bait with one chuck. Vermin Dropper 2 Posted October 31, 2006 Author Report Share Posted October 31, 2006 No worries about them surviving mate, I have a small air pump with a 6v battery attached to keep the water in the bucket airated either that or I use a collapsable cray fish trap with the funnels tied off, put the fish in through the zip and hang it in the water, Quote Link to post
