well lads i have been bringing my 5 month old lurcher pup for walks off the lead down through the feilds since i have got him...i am just wondering should i be doing this or could it cause problems when i start lamping him???...will this cause him to hunt up when lamping???..should i stop walking him through the feilds until i get him lamping???...he uses his nose alot while walking him and im not really sure what way i should go about it as it my first lurcher...looking forward to your replies lads

Never spoilt any of mine mate..better than leaving it lying in the kennel..Pups have so much to learn, getting it into as many different environments and situations is all part of the learning curve..

it shouldnt be a problem i have allways took pups with me to the feilds since they could walk they learn quicker and get used to every thing
