Sounds like somebody who was working there let it slip out.

"Don't tell anyone else but.............."

If the marksman was using sub's with a moderator, would the chap down the pub sipping his pint of "heard 3 shots ring through the night air", enough to warrant calling the Police?, especially what with back ground noise, people chatting, music, people being sick & fighting etc.

Smells a bit fishy to me. Some upset employee let the cat out of the bag I think.

Good story by The Daily Mail. Its what sells newspapers and causes friction amongst poorly educated public on the subject !!!! clapper.gif

Maybe, the chap down the pub did hear something, pic below:

looks like someones never seen a chicken coop after a foxs been in it or the back end of a lamb thats been chewed to bits. bunny huggers should be rounded up an dumped in the desert somewhere left to fend for themselfs for a week an see if that changes their attitude when they see nature first hand :clapper:

Nigel Furness, 60, who lives near the club, was drinking in a pub when he heard three shots ring through the night air.

'I thought, there's something wrong here, what on earth is going on,' he said
