dogvixen01 34 Posted April 15, 2010 Report Share Posted April 15, 2010 AT THE MOMENT I AM RE-LOADING 50G SPEER USING RELOADER 7 BUT WOULD LIKE TO TRY RE-LOADING 40G BLITZKING.I WOULD LIKE SOME ADVICE REGARDING POWDER, AND THE OVERALL LENGTH OF THE COMPLETED BULLET, COMPARED TO MY PRESENT SET UP .WOULD I HAVE TO RE-SET DIES TO COMPENSATE FOR SMALLER 40 G HEAD AND IF SO WHAT SHOULD BE THE MIN OAL .TKANKS? You can't go wrong with the book COL for a start point. From memory I think the 40grn Sierra Blitzking for RL7 is 2.125" but I will have to confirm this when I get home. I've been testing some 50grn V-Max over Viht N130, very accurate and surprisingly quieter than the SBK load. Quote Link to post
