arcticgun 4,548
you'd have thought saving the copuntry was far more important than saving a few foxes, these people really need to give their heads a shake,
PeakOil 352
Forget the economy, debt, deficit, employment, immigration, sleaze, corruption, corporatist crony capitalists and a whole host of other issues in the country. I will vote based on a bit of class warrior sabre rattling and a cutey wootie foxy woxy.
lurchergrrl 1,441
We believe that there is a grave danger that Britain will soon revert to the barbaric past, when it was legal to hunt down our wildlife with dogs. We feel it our duty to make it clear, to everyone, that the current Tory party leadership has promised, if they win this coming election, to smash the Hunting Act – a law which it took animal-lovers years, and 700 hours of parliamentary debate to bring into effect, by democratic process, in accordance with the will of at least 75 per cent of the population. If it took them years and 700 hours to bring the ban into effect, you really have to wonder why they had to work so hard? Maybe because they are a bunch of raving loonies with no idea of how responsible hunting is done? I'd like to know where they get their '75 per cent of the population' figure as well. Most of the folks I know either don't have an opinion or are in favour of hunting
