whin 463
the reason my freind had adeerhouind years ago well he got caut up in the folk lore of them and he imported them but once he got cold blooded greyhounds , staghounds etc he realised the deehound was not the dog , as for running stamina and wind saluks of the [bANNED TEXT] type and some collie types are the best ive saw and several hunting chums ,to me what the derhound brings to the modern coursing hunting guy for me would be a good coat , jumpimg ability and throw good heigt in the bitches as the saluk cross bitches throw small so does the collie type some times and can get a bit of a towing some nites ,if you gettin alot of sport ,i need a dog to be 26 27 if possible ,wether bitch or dog and be of the [bANNED TEXT] stamp for running ,you get lucky had abitch there 25 and was areal animal but some are not so even tho there handy not great allrounders ,for local places Quote Link to post

Flamin'Nora! 50
hes right about stubble though its not hard for a dog to run unless its bone dry at the start of the season but a winter stubble thats held plenty of rain is near perfect running for a coursing dog. jmho Quote Link to post
