whin 463 Posted April 13, 2010 Report Share Posted April 13, 2010 not a bad looking dog sh what height is he as my have saw two d platt dogs ,bizza and had the chance of a good bitch but past her best if i had put the good saluki in to her could a had a good all round dog ,or back to a smaller dog of the same stamp , as long as they have a good bit wind etc ,ye i will travel down that way shortly to see a litter near that way .i would rather see afew work on his permision and then heel book a pup as its his job and the dog needs to be sound full stop ,heel only by of tested stock hes afussy guy when it comes to dogs ,wether spaniel labs terriers or lurchers Quote Link to post
whin 463 Posted April 13, 2010 Report Share Posted April 13, 2010 wolfhound x deerhound your taking the piss i hope ,whats it like for a bit pace ,and is it agile and balanced i know its a pup , whats it bred out of, a three qaurter greyhound deerhound or a small half cross or a line bred deerhoundy type, maybe the call, as long as they are of treid and tested stock, whats the dog like ,you got a pic hees more after like the type maybe lea has she put a few pics up something simliar Quote Link to post

whin 463 Posted April 13, 2010 Report Share Posted April 13, 2010 mate he ran his last deerhond type were i run my saluks and he was a good dog ,but hees a hill keeper so its rough moors cold wet heather so it should run fine ,ye ill head down that way, i made a few calls ,and ill see what i can come up with hees been out of the lurcher seen since hees keeperd full time and has just had the odd dog for when the time suits, but now he wants a pup and he asked me but i see more good dogs in usa of that type than here ,but ill get one for him and we can travel down and se them and what they are like mate,if it was a saluk x colie type no prob but he wants abig rough coated heather runner and hole watcher on cold days ,al the best ,you maybe think i act like an eejit but im just after the well being of working dogs i mean if it was up to me ,there would only be working dogs , and no ban ,lolif peole want show dogs pet dogs racing dogs i would give them pure dogs and keep the lurchers for the poachers and hunters , all the best Quote Link to post
