Ive had a buck's head in beside six of mine for a few days to see if they would clean it for me and they haven't touched it

Ive found that some meats are maybe too rich for them, if I give mine pigeon breast they wont touch it, yet give them the rest of the pigeon and they devour it, not sure how rich venison is, but give it a try if you have it going spare, rather than wasting

I give my ferrets any wee fatty bits or of cuts and they eat it no problem. Mine are the oppisit they dont like rabbit lol.

My ferrets eat roe off cuts. Preference may also vary with deer species?

Hmmmmmm . . . i've got a bunch of fallow scraps that i was going to give them, i'll give it a try but i think the dogs might appreciate it more.

Funnily enough my ferrets love pigeon breast as for venison....can't see why not.....if they don't like it they won't eat it

Ferrets will eat any meat mate, people make me laugh when they say their ferrets are vegetarian, its like dogs they will eat anything when they are hungry, spoilt animals dictating to the owners, I don't think so.

What I should have said is dont waste venison on ferrets, its too nice.

Yer thats my thoughts, but actually pork isn't good for them even though they will eat it. The high salt content makes it dangerous.

try starving them for a few weeks and they will probably divour it.(joke) i gave mine a rack of venison ribs a month or two back and they seemed to like it.
