hily 379
your gun, woulnt shoot nout with a dog Ah but if you only have your dog you can still work it and hunt game for the others and as a smug little do gooder you just might get a lend of someone elses gun for a time. my own answer is that i get a lot of fun out working the dog anyway so it would not bother me if i forgot the gun .atb. waidmann 105
i would be more pissed off at forgetting the dog,the day would be pointless for me without one. the dog gives me % of the fun for the day 15% the crack and 5% shooting squirrels, pheasant, duck and other creatures (in that order for some reason ). apart from the fact that my dog would not let me forget him as he sticks to me like glue when i get the gun out of the cabinet waidmann
Dan Newcombe 58
If it was just me heading out for a mooch around then obviously the gun If it was a group rough shooting it would be the dog (i have forgoteen my gun more than once). I actually prefer working the dog than standing to shoot But like it has already been said.........he makes sure he isnt forgotten!
