Paying your entry fees is playing right in to their hands i.e 5-6-700 entries looks good on paper so to the organisers its of little consequence, boycott it and the numbers are down then they'll take notice

unfortunately we are a minority on here.there will be hundreds of entries from people that dont go on THL and there fore will not even enter their heads that a boycott is proposed,so our few dogs that are not going will probably not make one bit of difference

better off showing support for the hunt shows and terrier and lurcher club show where only the club and the hunt make a few quid rather than a company.

why not put something in the countrymans weekly and the EDRD with your proposals of this boycott??

Got my schedule today and couldn't believe my eyes. No dogs under three and a half with a docked tail . The next thing it say's is to mark down any animal showing signs of work or as they put it (features or exaggerations which they consider would be detrimental to the soundness, health and well being of the dog).

I was supposed to judge the Lakeys and blacks but they can F' OFF, so you can scratch my name of the schedule, workers and docked tails should be the only way forward, stop pandering to the tw*ts.

As the person who invited you I can understand where you are coming from ?. I myself will attend on the day and resign as politics have nothing to do at this show ,this decision was made behind closed doors by top gys men(scabs) so please do what you think is right and let hope shit hits the fan ?.

Lets be honest here, this could be last straw for the Great Yorkshire Terrier Show but its been going down hill for a few years since Tony Kirby ran it a true gentleman that stood by his roots amongst the terrier lads and looked after them The shower that took over what did they do with the entry fees?, Hiked them up from £1-05 yes to over £5 in one go boycott the show its the only way they'll sit up and take notice if it hits them in the pocket

a free entry as it is in a location were they could

allow this, The money the rest of this show makes

would well cover it and save a great show ,

but alas i think this is the end of an era :sick:

have made my call to them fell type as discussed,i have to say she was extremely sorry for the state of affairs,she asked if i would send her a copy of CMW to see how other shows have got around the problem ie how their ads have been worded.this i duly did today but wont hold my breath!!

NWTF was at meeting and discussed how they get round it so was the person you spoke to as I said 5 hours trying unsuccessfully to change there minds and opinions to no avail ?.

great yorkshire show.take it everyone got their entry forms today and have read that no docked dogs under 3 can be shown,so in a couple of years we ll have a show for veterans only ,surely they could have got round the law somehow? the possibility of a seperate gate with free entry or such like,yet again we pamper to an unjust law!!!!!!

me fooooking grandads tramped all over europe fighting

for this b*****d counry WW2 me nephew and two of me mates are

in afgan , and some jumped up little pen pushing twats sat behind

a desk are on a whim are passing laws that have no substance and

dont have any effect on animal welfare what so ever i could

see the french taking this on the chin , whats happend to this
