chrisknapper 1
Hi all, A couple of months ago i posted up pics of my lakeland/russel terrier. This weekend he was 4 months old and he's turning into a little minter. I havn't took him out working yet, but soon i will take him out for a days ratting, just to watch with a few other terriers. I dont want to put him in too early. What do you guys think, does he look like he's ready to battle with some rats - or do you think i should wait another few months? Thanks in advance, Chris. OldNog 432
started taking mine out at around the farm at about 5 months and geot her sniffing around and marking and let her catch in her own time and when she were reeady. I dont think you will need to wait until its 12month old! Quote Link to post

The advice you have been given is spot on mate but if you did want to take him just to watch then work away i wont do him any harm if that is all your going to do. ATB martin Quote Link to post
