ryanwylie 0
I have bought a new Steyr Mannlicher Classic half stock in .243. I ordered this rifle due to its very nice aesthetics and said I'd never thread it, that it was too nice to add a silencer. Well it just wont be practical if I dont so Im thinking of putting a T8 on it. Anyone recommend any other silencers?? Also, what is the run of the mill for the price of these and how much usually to thread the gun? Apparently the gun doesnt need proofed if using a T8.....? Grousekeeper84 2
It doesnt need proofed mate it will probably cost under £100 bucks to thread and whatever the moderator costs i woukd reccomend a wildcat predator it wont rust and u can clean it just better than a T8! Quote Link to post
danebrewer10 6
I would go for something a bit smaller on the mannlicher as it's a classic looking rifle and the T8 though good is pretty darn big, i'd look at something a bit more skinny like mods from ASE, their NS-3S over barrel design or ultra- the non sleving type, but i'd get it modded, if you don't want to use the mod, say for hill stalking perhaps or a lot of walking, then just screw the protective cap on! Cheers. Quote Link to post
