dont mean to put a downer on it as i likeenglish bulls an its good you gave the dog a chance but for it to be a well used cross not sure dont they have problems with eyes an as we all know they are very important to a lurcher atb with the dog hope he does you proud

No they dont generally have problems with the eyes,main problems with them (and not all)can be deafness heart and kidney problems but i suppose a cross will flush alot of that out, my bitch was fully health tested before i bred,wouldnt have it any other way

i had a pure english and she was a twat just a looney of a dag. even the saluki is easier trained. dont know of any lurcher xs though maybe they are different. had to sell the bitch in the end the wife got pregnant and i wouldnt have trusted that particular dog dhe nearly killed her kennel mate when she was 6 months old

we have one that sleeps wid our bedlington 2 dogs ,he is 100% wid other dogs and strangers BUT HATES HORSES,and he can run and biddable maybe a one off pure bull

Yes katytess, i bought her at 8 weeks put her down on the living room carpet and the first thing she did was go for a man passing the window (Terrace street)She turned into a horror with people.Dogs.cats. anything really she was probably un balanced.

 

When i sold her i kept track of her until she died at the age of 7,The lad who bought her was a lorry driver and in her career she ate the insides of two cabs, destroyed his mothers kitchen chewed various kennels to bits added to the reasons of his first divorce killed a couple of cats etc etc. but he loved the dog. im not sure why she died so young but i can recall it was some genetic problem so who knows maybe her personality stemmed from that.

 

She was my one and only dog failure and i was pleased to see the back of her

He was amazing at ratting and had some bigger things as well but was never left to finish. He also ate a few cats which came in the garden. But was great with other dogs and people. Rest in peace spikey.. I allway wondered why more people don't work these cross. I guessed they had tried them and they weren't as good. But who knows. mine was fast enough with out any greyhound in him. Excluding charles.

I have a friend who owned one 3/4 grey 1/4 ebt. he had it put down last year at the age of 15. He worked every quary single handed and totaly 100%, and worked untill he was 12. poor feker could hardly walk around the kennel but was like a 3yr old out in the night, very game dog. never seen another ebt cross, maybe he was lucky.
