mexlad 189
i know a old falla that always takes the runt of the liter well what's happened is, one of the lads i go out with always picks the runt, so he picked it out of this litter been bred, and ive ended up having it,im not bothered though i would have had any of them but just wondered what other peoples experience was. hogdog 61
It depends what you mean by the runt, if you mean a small, sickly, weak pup then I wouldn't take it but if it's just the smallest one there's no reason why it shouldn't be as good as any other dog in the litter. People have different ideas of what a runt actually is. Quote Link to post

rickyspringer 15
A RUNT is not the smallest dog in the litter, its the one which is struggling to cope, may not live and have health problems, the smallest is the smallest, simple as that.. Quote Link to post

Took a dog pup on 6 months old now. Got it early at only 5 weeks and it looked as though it wasnt going to make it. Should see it now. its not the biggest now but as strong as any of his siblings. I would have no worries taking on a "runt" If you take to the dog......its only got to please you. YIS T Quote Link to post
