runt of the litter

hello just wondered what your opinions are on the runt of the litter.does any one work one or has worked one before?would you have the runt and do you think it matters or not?my mate works one and shes a good worker,just wonderd what your thoughts are?

well what's happened is, one of the lads i go out with always picks the runt, so he picked it out of this litter been bred,and ive ended up having it,im not bothered though i would have had any of them but just wondered what other peoples experience was.

It depends what you mean by the runt, if you mean a small, sickly, weak pup then I wouldn't take it but if it's just the smallest one there's no reason why it shouldn't be as good as any other dog in the litter. People have different ideas of what a runt actually is.

Mines the bitch in my avatar was the runt of the litter (smallest in the litter) You wouldnt think it now. We usually 9 time out of 10 pick the runt.

A RUNT is not the smallest dog in the litter, its the one which is struggling to cope, may not live and have health problems, the smallest is the smallest, simple as that..

i picked the runt out of a litter of bullx and he is the only one out of the litter that made the grade so mite be a fluke but wiil be picking the runt out of next litter [bANNED TEXT] we need a new one

i always keep the runt.he/she stayed alive for that long.and there usually the cheecky ust..and ive no them 2 end the biggest and better dog o bitch..

Mexlad............hows it going?

Took a dog pup on 6 months old now.

Got it early at only 5 weeks and it looked

as though it wasnt going to make it.

 

Should see it now.

its not the biggest now but as strong

as any of his siblings.

 

I would have no worries taking on a "runt"

If you take to the dog......its only got to please you.
