Alexisrouzee 6
first you have to set a budget... then do you want new or old? then would you prefer the flatter traj .177 or harder hitting .22? there is ALOT of great pcp's out there at the min and lots on here racking up great kills. bit more info and then it can narrow down a bit.... farmerkev09 105
i would say most pcp air rifles will kill rabbits with ease i shoot out to about 30m-35m tops with my s410 any more and am not capable but i bet the gun in the right hands could do a bit more they can cost anything from a few hundren to a few thousand have a look on hear you might pick up a bargin farmer Quote Link to post

gringo40 13
Easy mate, all you need is a Rapid 7 Mk1, F******g brilliant.... LOL. Only kidding mate, only said that because i've just brought one, mainly for rabbits. Believe me it gets the job done Your better off taking notice the other lads postings, they actually know something Good Luck Carl Quote Link to post
pest hunter 151 15
Not better than a good springer but alot easyer to use. E.g. i can head shot rabbit and pigeon out to 40 yard (45 with good conditions) with my springer but can shoot 55 yard with my pcp for the head shots but both guns will make same hole shots at 30 yard for me. I honistly think you should get a good springer first befor the pcp it will make you a better shot A good type of springer is the hw range you cant go rong with any of them hope this helps pest hunter 151 Quote Link to post

BI9JOHNNY 25
webley are doing the raider 10 for £299 spot on for the money but yes a rapid 7 hits it on the spot in my opinion Quote Link to post

zini 1,939
Hi Mat, If you want a very accurate and light PCP then I would recommend a BSA Ultra Tactical in the single shot version in .22 calibre. http://www.airgunbuyer.com'>http://www.airgunbuyer.com Look in the air rifles bit under BSA They cost £279.95 with includes mounts and silencer. The silencer is rubbish on them though so with the extra money that you are saying id buy the extra items to compliment the brilliant rifle: Brand new pump for £89.99 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BROCOCK-STIRRUP-PUMP-WEBLEY-BSA-LOGUN-PCP-FX_W0QQitemZ230378497925QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_SportingGoods_Hunting_ShootingSports_ET?hash=item35a3a0e785 Weihrauch silencer for £37.95 http://www.airgunbuyer.com Look in the assossories bit for the silencer Nikko Stirling Mountmaster 3-9x40 PX Adj Riflescope for £39.99 http://www.jsramsbottom.com/products/riflescopes-nikko-stirling/nsmm3940ao-nikko-stirling-mountmaster-3-9x40-px-adj--riflescope-with-mounts.html With this set up you will have no problems what so ever in culling bunnies. Regarding the range that the rifle will be able to kill a bunny humanely at is more to do with your own skill as a shot Matt. The Ultra is a deadly accurate rifle Matt, I’ve tried one myself and personally watched and hunted with a friend of mine Reggaeman from this site who can shoot his and knock all legal air rifle quarry over at very long ranges with ease. If you are up to it they will kill a bunny if you can hit them in a kill zone (head) at 55 metres in perfect conditions, i.e no wind and the shot not being taken at a 45 deg incline or decline unless you are really confident in the rifles ballistic profile. Regards I hope this helps Si Edited April 12, 2010 by zini Quote Link to post
farmboy99 1
ive got a s400k with multi shot covo and it's great very light and lovely to shoot. the classic s400/10 are really light too mind and you get a lot of shots. my 400k is regged so i get same sort of shot count but guns smaller. dont forget youll need charging equipment too mate thats another £150 leaving you 350 for gun good luck tom Quote Link to post
