Geoff.C 0
You can get a cammo nylon one from target sports for a fiver. These are things you can buy at any gunshop, at hugely varying prices, depending whether it's got leather loops on a leather belt,or a leather loop on webbing type, open loops, closed loops etc. If you want to go along to H & H or Purdey's, you will get a best leather for maybe $150 (pound sign broken). Mine is a webbing belt with leather loops, it had only 20, but I got a leather smith to put 4 more each end. I only use it when rough shooting, full of 6's and a few heavy cartridges at one end. It wasn't expensive, and looks much the same as it did 20 years ago. You don't have to spend a lot to get a belt that will last for many years.Jack Pyke probably have what you need. danebrewer10 6
I don't have any experience with them, I much prefer a cartridge bag, it holds more plus there's nveber any chance of folds of fabric getting in the way, but I'd go for something leather, probably with a closed over loop Quote Link to post

I use a cheap webbed type cartidge belt with elastic hoops for my .410 and get on well with it. Im sure it wont last me a lifetime, but for the money i paid, ive already had my moneys worth out of it. Quote Link to post
harrycatcat 31
I bought one off fleebay it was a nylon/cammo type thing and when I put cartridges in it as proud as punch I had only walked about 30 yards on the road and I heard a noise and the material was squeezing the carts up and coming out and dropping on the floor. I would recommend leather if any. Quote Link to post

I haven't noticed any difference between cartridges in a bag or sneaking about with the rifle, compared to the noise of me walking on dry leaves it's negligible and I haven't noticed then jangling about because they may jiggle the first few steps but thereafter they settle into position and don't move from there, the only issue is if you climb a gate and slip over it, sometimes the bag can rest on the top bar of the gate and fall off making a noise, , and rattle sometimes but no worse than a squeaking gate, or if I run then it is noisy granted, plus it flaps about, but as for you flushing game, surely that isn't an issue as we're talking shotguns here and not rifles Cheers DB Quote Link to post
